I think my cat might have diabetes?

My cat has been urinating a lot more than usual lately (a couple of months) which I didn’t think anything of until the the kennel keeper said those are early signs of diabetes, and I don’t think it is the food because we have been feeding him the same food for the past 3 years and nothing has really happened, I’m going to have him see a vet in a couple days but I wanted to know what is the normal range of blood glucose in cats. I wish I could remember. We had an old cat that developed diabetes, they found out she had it by a blood test. She didn’t have insulin but the diabetes was controlled by diet and tablets, she was 14 when we found out she had it and lived to be almost 17.

I hope your cat doesn’t have diabetes, I’m sure you’re really worried, but if he does it is treatable, the important thing is to find out so he can get medical attention
