Glucose Intolerence Test Results?

I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrone. Thankfully my symtoms are very mild! My Fertility specialist wanted me to take the fasting Glucose Intolerence Test. I took a blood test then waited only one hour and then took blood again. My Glucose results came back at 81. My Doctor told me that it was a high normal. What does that mean? Does that mean that im on the verge of diabetes?? Please help!
I really dont know how much of that is true since I got that number from the nurse by phone. Is there a difference between the insulin levels and the glucose levels?

I am not sure where he gets the “high normal” reading. NORMAL is from 65 to 100 so it looks to me like you are completely normal. But one testing does not rule out anything especially as it was a GTT which I think should be banned! that drink if a person is diabetic will send them to the ICU by spiking the glucose so much more than it was already!
