Glucose Peak

Safe to test 30minutes or 50minutes after first meal?
Would the number be reliable? I’ve been read that 1 hour or 2(most common number) after a meal is the best time to check my glucose number, and that it should be less than 180 if possible. Well, I find otherwise by testing every 10minutes (I wasted a lot of strips, alright) after my first meal and the highest peak 30 and 50 minutes. Though, it steadly increase up to 50minutes than it drop down again. And sometime, 30minutes are at the glucose peak. But from this source,

I read that 30minutes peak glucose number shouldn’t be trusted since it rarely have any complication that early when i do test myself. And if I test myself 2 hours after my initial bite, it’s back to 120 or less.
So, what are you guy’s opinion? Thanks.
Jenny is right. Your postprandial blood sugar (the one after eating) is most accurate at 2 hours after the fact. Blood sugar fluctuations are completely normal very close to the end of a meal, although it is important to keep these post meal spikes down as much as possible, the fact that your sugar returns to 120 or less after a meal is a good sign that your blood sugar is not being sustained at a high level. Testing too early is not reliable, since what you are looking for is not a minute-by-minute blood sugar reading, what you are looking for is to see if your blood sugar is constantly remaining high because that is when complications set in.
