A diabetic patient has a blood glucose concentration of 425mg/100mL. Assume his blood volume is 5.0L…?

.. Calculate total grams of glucose in blood?

-A reaction requires .250g of potassium hydroxide. How many mL of a .150M potassium hydroxide solution is needed to provide the .250g of potassium hydroxide?

425 mg : 100 mL = x ( mg) : 5,000 mL

x = 21250 mg => 21.250 g

moles KOH = 0.250 g / 56.1074 g/mol= 0.00446
Volume = moles / M = 0.00446 / 0.150 = 0.0297 L => 29.7 mL
