Insulin Response To Glucose Test

Failed my one hour glucose test by 5 points… ugh!?
I fasted, even though I didnt have to, I dont think I ate anything after about 8pm the night before. THis is my second pregnancy and at the last 1 hour with my first I remembered drinking like less than half what they gave me for this test. That gave me like a mini-gatorade sized drink for this pregnancy- I was thinking at the time “God this is sooo much more than last time”
Anyway, I am wondering, for like two weeks before the test we’d had visitors for the holidays and then went on holiday ourselves and during that time I was eating really crappy food, and certainly my sweet tooth had the best of me. Wouldnt that make a different to my insulin response for the test?
I guess I just dont know much about any of it.
Iam 26, 30 weeks, 169 pounds (started at 144 I think) and I am 5′ 7″.
**they, they gave me, not “that gave me”
Perhaps you should have studied for the test harder
