Liver Glucose Uptake

how do doctors check for chiggers besides looking at rash?
voiding cytography
cbc(blood test)
liver enzymes
plasma glucose
western blot test
homoglobin
radioactive iodine uptake
cmv elisa antibody
bacterial culture
fungal culture
tuberculin test
coronary angiography
dna test
ana test
A look at the rash and a few pertinent questions about cavorting in the grass usually suffice. Reaching into the depths of my admittedly aging and unimaginative brain, I cannot think of a valid reason to spend precious health care dollars on these expensive tests for this diagnosis.
Maybe on “House” chiggers could be mistaken for tsutsugamuchi fever.
