Herbal Glucose Control

non diabetic/ hypoglycemia?
why have I started feeling more and more hypoglycemic symptoms, I mean I have always been a little like this but now its like I have to eat every 2 hours. I did have a baby 10 months ago so I have been dieting off and on a lot with low carb dieting and back and forth so could that have thrown my body off, cause now it seems I can’t get it under control. I have not ever been officially diagnosed but i have been checking my own bl/glucose levels and they get really low and I feel as htough I might pass out. I know there are sugar tablets which i use but is there anything to help stablize it like medication or herbal/vitamin supplemtns.
I know I should go to the doctor but what can the doctor really do about it, isn’t it just diet controlled
You need a low carb / high protien diet. I too am or was hypoglacemic. Yes your having a baby could have thrown your whole system out of whack. Eat lots of legumes such as nuts, peas and beans, try to steer clear of red meat. eating alot of fish and poultry helps. Visit your doctor and have him/her do a 6 hour blood glucose tolerance test. Or conduct one of your own by fasting for at least 8 hours say nothing to eat or drink after midnight. 8 am the next morning eat a full breakfast. Test your blood sugar level one hour after completely finishing eating. after that continue to check it every hour for the next 5 hours with out eating or drinking. If there is enough of a drastic spike in levels during the first three hours you can stop the test and take this info with you to your doctor. Be sure you write down the date and time interval that you checked your levels. Hope you feel better soon. Been there too!
